History
ERHARD SPORT – for over 100 years a name with tradition for development, manufacturing and distribution of sports equipment for international competitions, schools, clubs, therapeutical institutions and private use. Founded in 1880 as a decoration and wallpaper store with saddlery. Today, the name ERHARD SPORT does not only stand for highest customer satisfaction, but also for know-how, innovation and global alliances.
Old tradition at new brillance
After foundation of the company by Leonhard Erhard at 1919 his sons Christian and Heinrich Erhard took over the corporation under the firm name Leonhard Erhard & Sons. At the leather goods shop bags, belts, boxing items, balls and other items of fabric and leather were manufactured.
In the third generation Hans Erhard, the grandchild of the founder, expanded the product range with additional sporting goods of wood and metal. After the complete destruction of the company in 1945 as a result of the second
world war Christian Erhard and his son Hans Erhard began to reconstruct the premises, and the business was continued by the fourth generation at the beginning of 1960.
Today, the fifth generation is already involved in the corporation and ready to continue the accomplishment of their antecessors i.e. to meet the demands in the presence and the developments and challenges of global markets.
At a production area of more than 11.000 sqm ERHARD SPORT has the largest in-house production potential of its industry. An area of over 7.000 sqm ranges finished goods warehouse and despatch. Currently, the company
occupies approx. 200 employees.

Based on the decade-long expertise of furnishing Sports Halls, Performance Centres and Olympic Training Bases, ERHARD SPORT also sets standards by qualified assembly and professional maintenance. In order to ensure the operating safety and reliability of our products every item manufatured by us meets all safety requirements and regulations set by DIN/EN and TUEV. Our production facilities are also certfied as well as our skilled fitters for installation and assembly of sports equipment.

coordinate our focus on the future for new trends and product innovations. We are partner of sports associations
everywhere in Germany. Also, we are in close cooperation with the Olympic Training Base in Berlin.
