The solution is based on deister's secure and convenient UHF-technology and parking management software combined with the IDC-controller unit. At the heart of this solution is a secure and low-cost passive UHF-transponder. The transponder is placed on the inside of the windscreen of the service cars and the reader will identify it from a distance of five meters. It enables fast and convenient access to the parking lot. This solution is completely hands free, making the entrance and exit of the vehicles safe. Other benefits to end customers can also be named. Because battery-free transponders are used, costs are lower both in the investment phase and during the lifetime of the system. Easy to use tranSpeed management software makes the administration simple and the IDC-controller opens the barriers if the vehicle has access rights.
The deister electronic GmbH has been manufacturing and supplying UHF based products for over eight years. As one of the global forerunner of this technology their experience with this technology covers parking, access control, logistics and applications for factory automation. (Stadionwelt, 16.05.2012)
